For starters, we make our own dry food in our family founded plant right here in Mishawaka, Indiana. We have been making it here for almost 40 years. Well over half our dedicated employees have been here over 15 years. We blend their dedication and experience with our on-site management and the finest custom supplements and ingredients available, each from known sources that have proven trustworthy for years.

Most brands of wet food are made by contract manufacturers, as is the case with ours. However the formulas were created to our specifications. Ingredients are of the same quality level as used in our dry formulas and there are no substitutions. The plant is USDA/APHIS inspected and our product goes a step further by being EU Certified.

I just wanted to say that I switched my 2 labs to Eagle Pack about 6 months ago because of skin problems. The skin problems are just about gone and they are healthier then ever, more pep in their step and just all around happy campers.

I knew when this recall came about that my dogs were safe because of the products you use in your food. I knew I had nothing to worry about and that we were good to maintain the food regimen of Eagle Pack.

I guess in short I am thanking you for making a product that can be totally trusted to be safe and reliable for the health of my dogs. I am passing on the word to all my friends who are now at a loss as to what to feed their animals. They didn't want to pay the extra expense for the health of their animals, but now they are singing a different tune.

Quality Control

Making our own dry food in our own plant gives us distinct advantages when it comes to providing whole-health nutrition to your pet:

We opted for the expensive EU Certification process, which means you must know the country of origin of each ingredient. The same standards apply to our canned product.

We have fixed formulas that use high quality ingredients specified by us from sources known to us for years. We don’t change sources because someone offers us a “deal”.

In this global economy manufacturers are forced to buy some ingredients overseas. While most of our ingredients are grown or made in North America, the few that come from overseas carry Certificates Of Authenticity. They are also tested.

We are USDA/APHIS Certified, bringing a higher standard to pet food quality.

Members of our Breeder Advisory Council, using their personal pets, normally perform nutritional and palatability tests.
